In a career that has spanned over 30 years, Bill has spent time in various roles within the sports business landscape. He has vast experience in professional sports, having spent time with the San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers and Jacksonville Jaguars with positions ranging from ticket sales to Corporate Partnerships. During his time in that arena, his clientele included companies such as Pepsi, Wells Fargo, IOA and EverBank while developing multi-year agreements with notable organizations such as Florida Blue, Nestle Water Company, Publix Supermarkets, Fedex and ADT Security.
More recently, as the Associate AD for Corporate Partnerships at UCF he established the strategic direction for both athletic and university specific partnerships, concentrating on naming rights and category exclusivities. Currently, as the Senior Associate AD for Strategic Initiatives at the University of Tennessee he oversees the cultivation and introduction of new revenue streams for one of the premier, tradition-rich athletic departments in the country.

Derek's support for HBCU's runs deep since his Mom and Dad both attended an HBCU, graduated and married all at Fisk University in Nashville, TN. Derek also has a long lineage of family members that have attended HBCU's so the opportunity to invest in an event created to increase dollars targeted for HBCU's was an easy decision.
Derek graduated from the University of Virginia. Since graduating from college, Derek entered the sports world first at the professional level working for the Orlando Magic for almost 20 years. Before leaving as Assistant Director, Corporate Partnerships, Derek led a sales team as they embarked on the opening of the nearly half-billion-dollar Amway Center (home to the Orlando Magic).
Derek's career transitioned to the college space working for IMG College as a Regional Sales Director securing partnerships for many of the blue-chip universities of the SEC and ACC conferences. Derek transitioned back to the professional sports space joining the Atlanta Braves as a key member of the Corporate Partnerships team responsible for opening the $1.1 billion preeminent sports and entertainment experience with Truist Park (home to the Atlanta Braves) and the mixed-use property right outside the ballpark, The Battery Atlanta.

A seasoned veteran in the sports sponsorship game, Sean is key in ensuring each one of his clients receives the best experience. Sean has been with the Heat through the ups and downs and has three NBA championship rings for his service.
Sean is a graduate and former student-athlete for Clark Atlanta University in Georgia, playing football for four years while getting his Bachelor’s degree. His love for HBCUs has been there ever since he experienced what it felt like to be part of the Clark Atlanta Family. He is the perfect person to be the President behind Monster Logic, as he brings great sales experience and a true love for HBCUs.
